Well, Rumney has been great the past two weekends. My cold subsided and I managed to climb a new redpoint PB, Dodge the Lemons (.13c). I also sent Suburban (.13a) second go and Cote D'Azure (.13b) third go, psyched! Also, last week I sent a bouldering project I have had for a while, Diesel Dreams (V11).

I am very excited about these new sends and can say with confidence I am as strong as I have ever been. I contribute much of this recent success to climbing partner and friend, Matt McCormick who is breaking into training and coaching for climbing.

You can check out his blog here, http://mattmccormickclimbing.blogspot.com/ with a short bit I wrote about the training I have been doing with Matt. Thanks for checking it out. Get out, enjoy the weather and climb hard!

There is unfortunately a lack of photographs on these climbs, you can check out a few from the weekend on Matt's blog.

On a side note I wrote this post a little over a week ago, we went bouldering in Rumney last weekend and it was a mad house (I might stick to midweek days only from here on out.) Here are a couple shots from this weekend in Jamaica, VT and Great Barrington (what you want your shoe to do on the crux move of Something From Nothing). Pysched to say my Dragon stayed in the cam and I sent!
