Phil Schaal's report from RRR in Vegas

March 24, 2010 -  Five Ten

"Looking back to what a great weekend in Vegas I had.  It helps me realize that events like the Red Rock Rendezvous are fundamental to growing the sport of rock climbing.  Having a place where so many climbers can meet and share experiences makes me realize how proud I am to be a climber.

The weekend was a total success in my opinion.  The weather was perfect.  No devastating winds that I had heard about during the last years.   The clinics that I taught were filled with excited climbers that really wanted to learn as much as they could about the sport.

Hanging out at the booth with Charles, Laura, Kevin, Ronnie, and Dave was a blast.  We really had fun sharing the Five Te®n brand with everyone that stopped by.

I’m definitely going to keep next years Red Rock Rendezvous dates open.  And I suggest that all of you do too."
