Matt Ginley tells us about HP40 ROCKS

March 18, 2010 -  Matt Ginley

"Just wanted to post a couple pics from the Horse Pens 40 ROCKS event from the other weekend. This was an excellent grassroots-style event put on by local icon (and fellow 5.10® athlete) Adam Henry.

This year the event drew approx. 150 competitors and 200 spectators. All proceeds raised during the event went to several great causes – HP40, the Alabama Bouldering Fund, local children’s hospital, the Southeastern Climbers Coalition, and the Steele Fire Dept. In the end, over $8000 was raised – HUGE THANKS to everyone who came out and made this happen.
And on top of these great happenings, we were lucky enough to get some stellar weather. I was there running the shoe demo and answering any questions folks had about different models. Check out the pics!"
