Phil Schaal Pre RRR Report

Phil Schaal Pre RRR Report

"Not too much has been happening for me this winter.  After taking a month off I've been climbing as much as i can in hopes of getting fit for the spring summer season that is approaching soon.  The great thing about living in a town that has 4 climbing gyms in a few block radius is variety.  So as I've been trying to get back to top form I've been able to mix up my training by going to a different gym to change up the terrain and style.  Something that I do not normally do is climb routes.  I've been adding a few days of route to my schedule which has left me feeling like actually climbing a few routes this spring.
Something that I've looking forward to is the Red Rock Rendezvous, coming up next weekend.  I've never climbed around Vegas so needless to say I can't wait.  The Rendezvous won't be all fun and games as I'm teaching a footwork clinic on Saturday and Sunday.  Check back for a post Rendezvous report."
