"I was so excited for my trip to Hueco despite having a torn A4 pulley.  How could I not have a good time with friends like Abbey, Colette and Vanessa; hiking around  revisiting an area that holds many memories?

I had not been there since my first bouldering trip back in 1998.  Back then I camped in the back of my boyfriends car at Pete's and remember hiding from Obe when he would stroll around collecting "rent".  I was just starting to climb V5 and Hueco was the perfect place to test my strength.

Fast forward a decade later, Pete's is gone, access is crazy, if my finger wasn't hurt I would hope to be warming up on my once proud sends, but  Hueco still holds its charm.  Staying at the Rock Ranch was a blast, I found a new addiction, Boggle and many friends. Getting to spend everyday in the sun with amazing girls is always memorable even if two out of three of us had jacked fingers.

Hula Hooping, impromptu photo shoots, burritos, finger massages, and drinking too much wine, I didn't really miss climbing. OK, that is a lie, not being able to climb was a HUGE struggle, but if I can't climb, I might as well be in Hueco watching people crush and reading vogue on my crash-pad with friends."
