"I've been down in Chile since the 15th shooting some bike events, one canceled due to the quake :(

The urban DH event here went down two weekends ago in Valparaiso...and while trying to climb over a rusty steel fence to get a shot, my foot gets stuck as I leap and fall to the ground hanging by my foot. A rusty spike atop the fence would have most definitely gone THROUGH the top of my foot if it weren't for the tongue on my Impacts. Ripped a huge hole in the tongue but totally saved me. So instead of a gnarly gash (most likely with Tetnus ha) I ended up with a small scrape and a sore foot. Gotta love the Five Tens!  We were up in the Andes during the quake, staying with the dudes that owned a house. ended up passing along good karma and gave one guy my roached Impacts in return for his hospitality and help. Would have thought I gave the guy a million bucks he was so stoked!
