"With the Red just two weeks away, I've been attempting to switch gears to endurance training at the gym, but with the warm temps (mid-30s even!) I'm having trouble staying off the boulders. Last weekend was one of falls in Pawtuckaway and this, one of testing a boulderer's ability to build an anchor. Jake List and I "secured" our rap rope around a dead tree, once. With pads below we had nothing to worry about. The rappel allowed us a clean top of B-Boy Stance, enough for Jake and Zeb Engberg to climb all the moves and me all but one. A crew is coming together to test our clipping skills (hopefully better than our anchor skills) and we couldn't be more excited. A report of Red River Gorge soon!"
