Eva Pepin-Helie - "My favorite route in 2009"
"When fall begins, and it’s less humid and rainy in Quebec city, it’s time to go outside and pull on some real rock. This fall, just before school starts, my friends brought me to a new site in the Quebec Area which with I fell in love ! There are only a few sites for climbing sports in Quebec and this new one was just amazing ! I tried one of my best sport climbing route ever, called ‘Sanatorium 5.13d’. The steep angle of the wall is just perfect to be able to climb his project even if it’s rainy. I almost sent my project, but winter came so fast I didn’t have enough time. I will wait until this spring to go back there, even more motivated and strong to send it ! This route needs precision and a lot of core strengh, and I think the Anasazi Verde shoes were just perfect for this kind of route ! I felt confortable and confident to pull hard because of the nice gripp they give! I always love climbing on Small foot climbing holds or doing heel hooks because these shoes fit perfectly for my feet and the rubber brings a really good friction." Éva Pépin-Hélie
