USA National Champs & NW Cup #3 - Jill Kinter
JILL KINTNER - 1st DH, 1st Slalom - “It was quite a drastic change coming from Europe to the dry dusty conditions of Angelfire, but I really enjoy getting to race in my own country. National Championships is a special event for me, so I was looking forward to riding here and seeing everyone again. The trails weren't overly technical, but with the altitude, along with all the rocks and the loose blown out corners this was a good challenging race to put together. I am stoked to get a couple more National titles and continue to wear the stars and stripes on my sleeve for another year. Big thanks to Shimano and Fox for looking after me this weekend. Good times."
BRYN ATKINSON - 1st - “This past weekend was a nice break from the intensity of a World Cup; 2 full days of practice to smash out as many runs and needed then qualify and race on Sunday. For me this race was really valuable, I have spent the past 2 world cups tweaking on my bike, to finally end up with a setting I feel I can attack with. That and the fact that I put 2 solid runs down the hill when it counted to win by 6 seconds has left me gee'd up for the rest of the season."
