Granby Ranch is always the first MTB resort to open in Colorado, and it did not disappoint for the 2014 opening day! Rain started coming down pretty early, and it made for some slick conditions throughout the day. It was nice to ride with all of my friends and get wild on the trails before my first race this weekend! It was also icing on the cake to ride in tougher conditions than normal, because it makes average conditions just that much easier to deal with. Thanks to Granby Ranch for having an excellent opening day, and now I'll be off to Los Alamos, NM, for my pre-nationals race!
