After an intense climbing period in Winter, basically spent training on plastic, Jacopo and I decided to make a trip to Oliana. For me it was the first time there. We didn’t have some specific projects in our minds and we just wanted to try a lot of different routes and climb as much as possible. When we arrived in Oliana everything went very easy. We met the Americans Sam Elias and Walker Emerson, who found for us the perfect cheap apartment to stay in the center of this small town. We were very motivated for our first climbing day. The weather was quite miserable, cold and humid, but the routes were great and very long. First we climbed La marroncita, one of the classics of Oliana.

The day after, the weather was perfect: warm in the sun, but in the late afternoon there were always good conditions for climbing… and it stayed like this until we left. Every day we tryed a lot of different cool routes. At the end we did a lot of hard routes. And every single route was amazing to climb.

Highlights: mind control 8c/+, fisheye 8c, full equip 8c/8b+, china crises 8b/+, humildes pa casa 8b/+, la morroncita 8b, mon diou 8a+ onsight...
