This summer I spent five weeks in the famous bouldering location of Rocklands. After some years of waiting, the day of the flight arrived and I was motivated to go to climb in this place which is described like a paradise by every climber. I was anyway a bit insecure about this trip since too climbers crowed the place and some people doesn't do anything else that speak about a beta or about a numbers and performances by other climbers in the place. In fact, this behavior was quite present but not so much as I thought.

The place is divided in many sectors and you can find some quiet in the nature and not so crowed walls. Beyond the little and small negative points, I would like to write about the great side of Rocklands. The best thing I found is for sure the natural scenery that surrounds the bouldering spot. Majestic landscapes which usually offers marvelous sun sets and blue sky, bushes or desert sands everywhere and orange sandstone which gives a big touch of hot colors. Also the rock is good especially in "the pass" sector where it is the closer to the font's one even though climbing style looks really different: big holds far from each of them, dynamics and crimps to pull as hard as you can with less technical skills required.

Together with 4 friend from Valais (Swiss) we stayed in a nice little house for five weeks which passed really fast. We climbed in many different sectors and we had occasion to see and to try some stunning lines typical of this place. Some of them are really worthy and proud, with unique features and great looking like "the rhino", "Caroline", "sky", "el corazon" and many problems gave me a lot satisfaction at the top. The only pity under the climbing aspect is probably that the best lines are situated in the medium-high level of difficulty, at least in my opinion.

For the easier stuff they are not as good as other place like Bleau or Ticino. This is the list of boulders I climbed (personal grades) and a video report.
