So, lets get right into it shall we! I am in nursing school and this takes a lot of my time/life. Climbing always seems to still be the only thing that keeps me going through mental breakdowns, stress, and just pure happiness. Lately I have had a mental struggle with myself; all I want to do is climb but I have school to be worried about as well. I recently just finished a bouldering league here in NM where we had many teams and competed for 10 weeks with new boulder problems to accomplish. Dan Isaac and Timy Fairfield sponsored this event and it is exactly what I needed in my climbing world.
I am a lot more focused and have more goals than ever right now! My main motivation with school is to train and be in the best shape I can be for this winters Hueco season(must I say I have watched to many hueco climbing vids!!!!) I am really stoked to go out there and try the hardest of my ability. I conquered a new feat for myself; while in school I managed to climb my first v10 which was one of the proudest moment EVER! All I have to say is stay psyched and know even if you don't have all the time you wish you could for climbing it is always there and never seems to disappoint! Have a wonderful rest of the summer! Peace
