Nick Bradley was recently crowned National Champion at the SCS Nationals. So when my Zero Gravity teammate and fellow 5.10 athlete asked me to help him train for Worlds, I was all over it!

 

We went to Mission Cliffs in San Francisco because it’s a great gym with high walls and it has some of the hardest routes in the Bay Area. Climbing buddy Cameron and brother Ethan joined us to get some climbing in for themselves.  There were new routes at the gym so Nick and I practiced onsighting. Nick onsighted the hardest route in the gym – a 13.C! And then he started doing laps on the route! That’s just sick! During his rests he did catches for me and I did laps on a 12.C.

I have climbed with Nick for 3 years now and he is not only crazy strong, he’s a great role model for younger climbers like me.  I know he will do a great job representing Zero Gravity, 5.10 and the United States at Worlds. Good luck Nick!
