Well, summer has arrived in British Columbia with a bang. After a wet spring July is turing out to be one of the best yet, with lots of sun and just enough rain to keep the trails in great shape. I'm riding the Whistler Bike Park about four days a week for the next while and loving every day.

I spent a week in California in June at Woodward West, which was amazing. I had only ever been there for short trips in the winter and spring, so to get a full week of ring there was a great experience. The highlight for sure was the chance to ride the Mega ramp quarter pipe. It's 28 feet to the top and I got to about the 26 foot mark. Fun but scary for sure.

Now I am back home, the summer consists of Bike camp on Tuesday and Thursday and racing Monday and Wednesday. I've been riding almost all the runs in Whistler and hope to clean all the double black diamonds by the end of the season. This past weekend my favourite trail opened, the Top of The World. It goes right from the top of the peak chair back to the village, a 5,000 foot descent.

With Crankworx around the corner, i am also looking forward to seeing some of the best riders in the world rip up my local hill!
