Ever since I was a freshman in high school I have been asked to tryout for pole vaulting by the head coach of track. After speaking to him, on the last day of school, he made me begin to really consider the idea. Before I made the dissection, I talked to my climbing coach about being on track. My climbing coach said it would really be for the experience in being in a school sport. I finally said yes to this opportunity!

Track and Field usually starts in the spring but the coach wants me to train in the summer as well. This is perfect, because on my workouts plan for the summer I wanted to do 5 days a week of cardio. This will also build up more endurance for climbing as well as core.

I have never been in a school sport before. This will be a very exciting way to make many new friends though track and learn new skills. I am very thankful for all my coaches that are supporting me for this decision Personally, I have not done to much cardio in my life time. This is a great way to start my running routine and train for ABS Nationals.
