The current Speed Climbing Champion of Europe is fighting to get back to health. Injured over three weeks ago, Edyta Ropek underwent an ACL reconstruction surgery, and a few days later started her rehabilitation, now thinking about coming back to regular training.
Five Ten Team athlete is fighting to return to championship condition. The inhabitant of Tarnów City is not giving up and is struggling to maintain the high performance she had built up before winter. Every day she goes to Cracow to attend her rehabilitation sessions, at home she exercises all the time and is seriously considering beginning regular training.
In spite of the fact that Edyta Ropek is moving around using crutches, she doesn’t give up so easily. She has already returned to the climbing wall and the gym to check out her ability to train without using the injured leg. Resuming training is possible.
The constant and inevitable fight against time is on. The most important events of the season are to take place in the second half of July and at the beginning of August. Fortunately, most editions of the World Cup take place in autumn so by that time the champion will have already begun her full preparation.
