Hey everyone!
It's been a while since I last posted, but I'm back, and I'm going to be posting WAY more blogs. I have a bit of down time the last couple of months, and I have a lot of news to report on my blog!
First, I'm going to start off with a rock climbing post. I went out to Malibu Creek State Park a few weeks ago to go climbing with some friends. It was the first time I had been climbing in about 3 months! I was dying to get back on the wall, and I couldn't wait to complete my first climb of the day.
We stuck to some easy climbs for the day. My whole intention was to go out and have a fun time. And fun, we had! I went with my friends Shane, Logan, and Lauren. Everyone successfully improved as the day went on, and we gradually moved on to harder routes.
There is a swimming hole at the state park, so we went swimming for a little bit. My friend, Shane, even participated in some cliff jumping! There are some pretty good size jumps at this particular spot, and they look like a lot of fun. The water is a little shallow where you land, so you have to be careful not to bust your butt on the bottom.
