We recently returned from the 19th Annual Climbers Festival in Lander, WY. It was my 13th and Hannah's 5th. It is great because it is like a big family reunion. We have many friends travel from around Wyoming, Salt Lake City, and Colorado to visit and climb. There are many presentations, slideshows, comps, contests, trade fair, drinking, demos, and raffles going on throughout the fest. Five Ten's very own Kevin Newell and Ronnie Jenkins made it up and brought a bunch of shoes to demo and gear to raffle. There were great presentations from Royal Robbins, Kevin Jorgeson, and Kate Rutherford.
If you have never gone to Wild Iris, Sinks, Fossil Hill, Winds or Lander in general...the Climbers Fest is a great time to come. Lots going on and and a lot of people to show you around. Looking forward to the 20th Climbers' Festival. Bring some strong digits for the savage pocket pulling. Hope to see you there!
