Five Ten Team athlete Edyta Ropek wins silver medal in European Promo Event in speed climbing. Competition was a part of the Munchner Sportfestival which took place last Sunday in Munich, Germany.
Edyta was in a great shape. During qualification round she ran 9,26 second, which is close to hers life record. She beat in duels Suiss Noemi Langenkamp (9,96 s. to 14,83 s.), Austrian athlete Stefanie Pichler (10,94 s. to 11,47 s.), French speed climber Anouck Jaubert (9,57 s. to 10,53 s.). Only in the final, Edyta made a small tactical mistake, and Ester Bruckner form France win the gold medal with 9,14 s. to Edyta’s 9,42 s. But it’s OK, those comps was a part of preparation to the World Cup’s, during which Edyta tested some new tactics, and methods of concentration.

Competitions in Munich was a beginning of the summer speed events. On 12 of July in Chamonix, France will be held Speed World Cup. Edyta is now in France, training with The French team, preparing specially to this comps, and to the Parisian World Championships.
