So, I have been in Colorado for the last couple of weeks, sampling the diverse climbing here.
There is so much to do, so much amazing and diverse climbing to be had and I am constantly overwhelmed by how little time I have. The first thing I did on arriving was onsight the Naked Edge... And yes, it does not only live up to, but it exceeds it's reputation!
I have also spent a bit of time trying the most beautiful line Boulder Canyon - "China Doll" 5.13c (5.14a with the extension/proper line!) which should be natural, but somehow has been bolted! I dispersed my trips to the canyon with some fun exploratory missions up to a boulder field at Mt Evans, where I spent a lot of time fantasizing about a crack climb project... Which turned out to be a fair bit beyond my abilities.
Now I am off to Independence pass as part of the Five Ten team going to the Rock and Ice Photo Camp... Psyched to check out the climbing up there! Stay posted for some amazing photos!
