Mammoth bike park has opened earlier than anywhere else in the West this year. When I rode there Saturday (Memorial Day Weekend), about 9 trails were open; including Uptown, Downtown, Shotgun, Juniper Ridge, Lower Bullet, Lower Pipeline, Paper Route, and Timber Ridge.  It snowed all day (30°F ) with no accumulation but keeping the trails tacky and due to the weather, nobody was on the trail! This is going to be a epic mountain biking season with the low snow pack already melting out FAST. At this time in Mammoth, all trails below 8500 feet are melted out with just a few patches of snow that have been disappearing fast.  The Mammoth Mountain bike park is planning on a great season with all the new trails they built last year!
