Typically when you think of the words bachelor party, the first thing that comes to mind are strippers, gambling and Las Vegas. It’s a man’s last chance to spend time with his friends before his marriage. Ask me what comes to mind now and it’s more like an epic week with your about to be married friend B.A.S.E. jumping in Switzerland.

Twelve of us gathered together to celebrate the event that took place in one of the meccas of alpine sports, Lauterbrunen, Switzerland. Seven days of perfect summer weather during mid march, was unbelievable. It could not have been any better. Come to think of it, when I was there last summer in July, the weather was worse. Go figure. We had our fair share of nights out dining and drinking at the local pubs, but I tried to keep things somewhat mellow most of the nights in order to go big the following day to fly my wing suit off the massive cliffs.  The Yellow Ocean, La Mousse, The Nose, High Ultimate and the Mushroom on top the Eiger are among my favorite jump spots in the valley, and we hit them all. The Mushroom was our grand finale, which we took the luxury of a helicopter ride to get to the top. I totaled 35 jumps during that week returning back to the USA only dreaming about the next trip to the valley.
