We did the 5 hours drive to Everett, MA near Boston. It was my first time in a Dark Horse Comp and I had plenty of fun! there was some nice problems and every one were super friendly! Actually, I feel in pretty good shape! and I think I climbed really well that day! I made it to finals being 2nd in qualification. Unfortunately, I didn't feel the first problem in any way.. we had to turn the corner of the wall and reach for two holds on a volume, I tried it a couple ways but none felt good.. and then TIME was out...
Once seated on my chair waiting for the next one I had to forget all about my failure and focus on the rest of my comp.So I flashed both of the following problems and arrived on the last one. I turned over and looked at the wall to see one of the best looking indoor problem I've seen! with a big star shaped volume in the middle of the wall on what two slightly gaston holds were put in a way that I had two Dyno! After couple tries i sticked it! and sent it! I knew for sure that I was the first one to send it! the crowd was getting loud! Finally I got third, even if no other climber sent the last problem... Wish I had done the first one so bad!!
It Was an amazing comps!
Congrats on the good work everyone!!
