I wanted to go back to Cali to ride in warm weather with the locs! AT's showdown was coming up in a few weeks, so lots of friends were headed to San Fran. The side by side format sounded like so much fun with a huge rider's list it had to be sick. A week before I left I asked Mike Zinger if he wanted to go on a last minute roadtrip to Santa Cruz and San Fran for AT's showdown. He had just about nothing better to do so he was down! Our plan was just that we were going to drive to Cali, crash at Fogel's, eat lots of Burritos, ride in the sun with friends and film it. I brought my downhill bike too because it's the most fun to shred and on the rainy days we hit some really fun trails. AT's showdown was more fun than I could have expected and everyone killed it. No one got hurt besides Chubey hitting his head too hard and the jumps were big and fun. I was happy about qualifying 7th and psyched to see Ryan Howard getting 2nd place. Mike Zinger got productive too and killed it behind the lens! Enjoy!
