Walson Tai of the Calgary Climbing Centre in Calgary, Alberta approached me earlier this year with a new idea. "Why don't we have you create your own holds and put up routes in the gym with a story behind them?" he asked. "Sweet!" was my reply! With the help of the CCC staff, I was able to create 2 routes made completely from my own holds. My story was the inspiration that I gain from climbing, and the amazing community that I grew up with in Calgary as a youth climber. By creating these routes, I was able to give back to my community is a small way. The movie is fun, I'm corny, and the routes are still up in Cow town if you're ever in town. Hope you're all rockin' it!
