I'm back on the road again, after too long a time, and damn... it feels good! I've finished my nursing degree, and pending my final exam results (fingers crossed) I'll officially be a registered nurse!! I have secured a job in the lovely town of Canmore, Alberta which dosent start until January. What other choice do I have but to grab my visa card, hit the road, and head south???!!
I've been chilling at Lago Linda's Hideaway in the Red River Gorge KY, climbing some amazing routes, getting pumped out of my mind, chilling with good friends, and of course, drinking good ol' Ale8-1. I can't believe how many amazing areas there are here, and I have so many projects I don't even know where to start. You can check out my tick list/ progress on sendage.com if your into that sort of thing ;)
One of the routes that I am super psyched on right now is Brilliant Orange at the Gold Coast. I don't think its super classic, but I love that it incorporates a ton of different styles, and that it scares the crap out of me. There is a rad dino off a slab as the final move, and the fall is frightening to say the least.
I think the only thing that would make this trip complete would be an appearance by my sis Vikki, who is stuck up north finishing her nursing degree.
The plan is to hang out in the Red until it gets to cold, then head south to HP40, and then over to Hueco before heading back to Canada for a white Christmas with the fam.
Life is good!
