For years I've had a huge appreciation for the distant places I visit. From Turkey, to Europe to South America, each holds a great memory of adventure and exploration. The times spent in these places with old friends and new has and always will be priceless. Next week I'm leaving the grind in Boulder and switching modes for the Petzl RocTrip in the Getu Valley in China.
The Petzl crew is always top notch with the annual RocTrips and I'm never let down. They bring new climbing and attention to mostly undeveloped areas. The effect creates a great mood for the local communities and the climbers involved. This year is even more exciting as there will be a huge contingent of Team Five Ten out there, most of whom will be staying an extra week in the Getu valley to explore the vast potential even further. I will be posting updates as the trip unfolds before, during and after!
