Last weekend was the first leg of the Triple Crown Bouldering Series. The first stop was Hound Ears in Banner Elk, NC. The event started off with registration and vendor fair Friday night. Everyone was super psych on the cold temps for the comp. More and more people were asking questions and giving praises of the new Five Ten shoes. The next morning we woke up before the rooster could crow and setup the demo fleet at Hound Ears. It was super cold and all of a sudden it started to snow. The topouts were completely soaked and they cancel the comp till tomorrow.

That night the raffles were in full effect and Five Ten raised $650 dollars for the Southeast Climbers Coalition. We doubled last years amount. The next morning we woke up super early again and setup the demos. No snow this time just blue bird skies. As soon as the competitors got up to the demo we were completely out of shoes. The top shoes were.

Arrowhead, Team, Blackwing, Quantum
