The Nor'easter powered by Eastern Mountain Sports is the spiritual home of the active outdoor community. It's a 3-day celebration of outdoor culture showcasing the sports we play, the music we listen, the food we eat, the beer we drink and the environmental issues that concern us. This year's Nor'easter will sprawl out across Burlington with a Cyclocross race at North Beach, concerts and satellite events on Church St, and the festival Base Camp at Waterfront Park.

Human-powered sports are the cornerstone of the Nor'easter and there is participation for all levels of athletes from entry to elite. Eastern Mountain Sports Outdoor Schools will be there to give you tips and techniques on climbing, mountain biking and paddling. You can also kick back and watch the world's top climbers compete in the official U.S. pro climbing tour or watch the always-exciting, fast paced UCI sanctioned Cyclocross race.

In between sports you can catch an eclectic lineup of bluegrass, rock and folk music across multiple stages and venues. This year's lineup includes River City Extension, Vermont locals Aunt Martha and many, many more! G. Love & Special Sauce will be headlining the Nor'easter and rocking out tracks from his latest release "Fixin' to Die".

Mark your calendars for September 23-25 and make sure you come celebrate outdoor sports, music and conservation Nor'easter style!
