After spending the last month bouldering in Sweden around Västervik we decided to check out the some Finish Boulders. First stop was Aland. Its a nice little island between Swe and Finland but it counts to Finliand. The climbing there was really great but most of the boulders has really hard heel hooks. Now we are in Finland, Helsinki. The first few days weather conditions were perfect, but today there is a lot of rain. Because of that reason and the fact that Finland is more famouse for the Santa Clause than for the boulderareas we will leave after a short time soon.

Although there is not much for climbing it was worth to come here. I was able to send a really hard problem called Hottentotti Assis, although falling 5 times at the last move. As well we learned a lot of nice people (and the boulder gym is amazing). It was a nice time, which we don’t want to miss.
