This was a very fun winter for climbing. It was very cold all winter up here in Michigan so the ice was pretty good all season. I went to the Michigan Ice Fest, which was great. Good people and good times. I just got back from my first trip of the season to The Red. The weather was amazing the entire weekend. It was sunny, 60, with a slight breeze. Perfect. I wish I could have stayed longer than just a weekend, but all the more reason to go back. I;m looking forward to a good spring climbing season, hopefully filled with trips to various places. I'm hoping to maybe make a trip to Seneca, that would be cool. Either way it should be a fun and safe season, I hope it is for everybody else too.
