Climbing Works International Festival
The CWIF is always a good laugh. Those boys at the Climbing Works know how to put on a comp. 30 dirty qualifier problems wear out the skin and the arms for the semi finals. Here it gets really hard and the next 4 problems decide who makes it into the final.
I was feeling pretty strong and seemed to be climbing ok, but it was a relief to make it through to the finals. There were some HARD moves! As i warmed up for the final i still felt pretty good but as soon as the comp started it all went a big wrong and I made loads of mistakes and generally felt like the semis had taken their toll! I was knackered. Still it was great fun. The problems were amazing and I enjoyed every minute of it, eventually finishing 4th. This comp has got me pretty psyched for the approaching World Cup season. Bring it on.
