This weekend 29-30 Jan 2011 I went to the Open bouldering competition in Hoboken (Antwerp - Belgium). 50 new  boulders were opened to climb.Last year I won this competition but at that time I was still in the Youth category - 16 years. This year I'm sixteen so I had to compete with the adults.I felt strong and was able to climb some hard boulders.Unfortunately I hurted my foot when doing one boulder.I could still climb but when I took off my Team 5.10 climbing schoe, my foot started to swell. I couldn't get anymore in my climbing shoe and had to stop climbing. When I saw the results I was surpised still to be on the 13th place.

Our Five Ten friend Loïc Timmermans won the competition in the Youth -16 years category !

Cédric Binst another Five ten sponsored climber finished 4th in the youth - 16  category

My father(45 years) also participated and he won in the Veterans category (+35 years) .
