Last weekend was a special one…Last weekend after having some hesitations about many reasons I decided to participate at a competition of the tour de bloc in the small town of Quebec. I really loved this weekend and I thought it was important to let you know my small history about this.

First of all, after having a hard time getting up, my boyfriend and I took the car underneath a big pile of snow to take the road to the competition. When we got there we realized that even with the snowstorm we weren’t alone. In fact, most strong climbers of Canada had shown up as well like the Weldon sisters. Winning this comp wouldn’t be easy for anybody. I also saw my good friend, Sebastien Lazure, it was nice to see him have a second place in the men’s field.

I had lot of fun in this competition. Even though it had been a year since I last competed I still don’t remember a qualification round as hard as that one. Moreover I do not remember being this sore after a comp.

The coolest thing at this competition were the nicest features ever…Thanks to Jeff Beaulieu the owner of Delire Holds. I hope to see more of them in gyms throughout Canada.

Finally, It’s a nice start to the season. On my part I had a hard time in finals with only two tops. Fortunately to me it was enough to win with my gold leggings. Lol

Cheers Eva
