I haven’t posted on here in a while, so I’m posting an update, recently I’ve been trying to get back to training after lots of outdoor climbing over the summer. At the end of the summer I took a trip to Spearfish, South Dakota for about a week and a half. We spent a lot of time in Victoria canyon at the beginning. The VC is by far one of the most beautiful crags I’ve ever been to, it’s a 200ft wide slot canyon with 80 foot overhanging faces on both sides, and a cold stream running through the middle. We camped at the top of the canyon for three days, and hiked about half an hour every morning into the canyon we climbed all day until dark. Over the few days we were there I sent one of my hardest routes to date including Ninja Please 5.13b and Foot Fist Way 13a.

Then after 3 days we went to Spearfish and met some more people, and then we camped in Spearfish and spent the rest of the time there. Right after Spearfish I went back to school and that has put a damper on outdoor climbing, so I've been trying to get back to training in the gym and I’ve been doing a number of local abs comps, including the vertical endeavors Octboulder Fest where I placed first in the open division. For now I’ve been training a lot, preparing for ABS regionals and hopefully nationals.
