Five Ten's Ronnie Jenkins reports from the event: "This years HP40 comp was perfect. The weather was cold for sending and the comp had the most competitors ever at HP40. The event kicked off Friday night with pre-registration at the Five Ten booth. The line was moving slowly because of people checking out the new shoes. Everyone was so excited to try out the new shoes in the morning.
John Dorough and I woke up before the sun came up and setup our demo fleet. It was freezing outside and both of our hands were frozen. We felt sorry for people who were going to demo out the frozen shoes. In about an hour of setting up we ran out of demos. We demo out 100+ pairs of shoes and we had to turn down a few cause there were no more. The comp started and everyone went to test their demo shoes and skills on the HP40 slopers. People started to come back with wrecked hands and ear to ear grins. The booth was packed all night with good vibes and psych people. I am so psych that we have kept this buzz going.
Great Job to everyone!"
