The last few days have been wonderful.  Temps have been good (a bit humid though) and the climbing has really started to click for me. We spent a nice day out in Brione two days ago, where I managed a quick ascent of Amber 8B, and gave my first go on Vecchio Leone.  Got to the last hard move.  More importantly, I have a new project that I am now obsessed with.  The Story of Two Worlds!  It has been on my list since completing The Dagger, and today I gave it some solid effort.

After getting some video beta from Dai Koyamada (who actually lives next door), I surprised myself by climbing into The Dagger a few times today.  I didn’t expect to have such rapid progress!  Now that the full line is in two overlapping sections, the important question has been answered- IT WILL GO!  And it is f*cking hard!  Here is a little screenshot from some video I captured:

The next few days call for some rain in the Ticino area.  We might attempt a Magic Wood session either tomorrow or Sunday.  Psyched!  I will also be posting a mega blog, some videos that I’ve been working on, and some more photos.
