After 1 year of rest from climbing, I decided  last minute to participate to a local competition in Ottawa. I wasn't sure to compete again so I needed motivation. Winning first place in women's open was comforting but placing fifth in  men's was surprising and very exciting! It's only now that I notice that climbing with the strong men of Montreal is really paying off! Being sore for three days after each session should have been an eye opener :)

I can't wait for a bigger competition to see if I keep improving at that pace... For sure I will need to push my limits even more if I want to be ready for the world cup in Canmore!

Off to the gym then!
