Yesterday the weather was absolutely impeccable in Magic Wood. As I walked into the Woods I knew that this day was going to be one of the best and hoped more than anything that I could finish up the project I had been working for five days over the past few weeks. My friend and I stumbled upon this project when I first arrived in Magic Wood early in September. We began working it and knew that it was going to be one of the hardest in the woods if one of us could manage the send.
Paul Robinson sends V15 project in Magic Wood
After five days of work, I felt as if i were extremely close and hoped that after a rest day I could finish the line. On my sixth effort yesterday, I managed to make the first ascent of "Ill Trill" V15. The feeling of topping the boulder out was miraculous. After falling on the last move of the climb many times it felt so wonderful to finally put the climb together and send it!
There are a few more days of prime Magic Wood conditions and the psyche is high. The lower areas of Ticino are getting into season and the search is on again for a new amazing project to put all of my attention into! Stay tuned for video of the send coming soon!
