I climbed three days on last week, each day on rock! The leaves are changing color, the temps are cooling and the ache in my shoulder is slowing going away!

Last weekend I spent a few days working on a climb called Lunar Eclipse. The climb was originally graded V10, but is likely closer to V11. It involves a number of core tension moves, to a couple of gaston moves and a powerful match. The finish is a 25ft+ topout that goes at about V2 and is scary! The boulder is called the Moon Tower and is lies at Smugglers' Notch, VT. I came very close last weekend, falling on the final hard(ish) move. A dynamic V5 move to a jug. Rather than push myself, I decided to be conservative coming off an injury. I worked myself hard that day and at the gym this week and today I am going to send!

Check out the picture from the bottom of Lunar Eclipse and a tease of a secret boulder that you'll see move of in the future!
