This past weekend was the first leg of the Triple Crown Bouldering Series in NC. The bouldering area is called Hound Ears. The event started last Friday with early registration and vendor fair. The Five Ten booth was packed throughout the night. People were getting psyched to try out the new shoes during the comp.

The next day we setup the demo at Hound Ears and we were completely out of demos in about 45 minutes. I looked over to our competitors and saw a sea of demo shoes still hanging out at their setup.

After the comp the vendor fair kicked off again. The Five Ten booth was twice as busy from the last night and all we heard was “where can I buy these shoes?” and “the fit is perfect!”

I think we have converted a bunch of people from the “Sportiva foot” to Five Ten from these past demos.

Here is a list of the top shoes at the demo:
Arrowhead- Everybody wants them
Blackwing M’s & W’s- The next Dragon
Quantum- Great for the true low volume narrow foot
Hornet- Great for pulling hard with your toe on steep climbs

Can’t wait until the next leg of the Triple Crown!
