“The Devil’s brew” first Ascent all free of the impossible wall up the West coast of Greenland
A few days ago Sean Villanueva, Nico Favresse, Olivier Favresse and Ben Ditto topped out a steep 850 m tall virgin big wall “the impossible wall” rising straight above the ocean on the west coast of Greenland. The ascent was only possible thanks to expert sailor Bob Shepton who had the vision for this wall and took a great amount of risks with his boat in order for the team to succeed.
Earlier on their expedition, the team had already climbed three other routes on two different rock features in the same area. The team is now slowly making their way sailing to the south of Greenland looking for their next target.
