It's been a while coming but she has done it. Tahnée finally beat her rival.
This season Tahnée has just stepped into the Junior girls category (15-18) for the French National series... there she again joined the girl that she has raced against since she was 12. Sandra is fast and Tahnée's plan this season was to get nearer to her and if possible get faster.
Tahnée qualified 1st at the last round of the French Cup but could not hold it together for the final. Yesterday it all came good and with the relaxed atmosphere Tahnée did it... taking the win by over 10 seconds!
Riding with her brother Kaos (who at 11 was too young to race but rode first down for each round) and friends she also had Mum there for lunch and friends to cheer her on - Tahnée felt extremely relaxed all weekend.
It was a long DH course and Tahnée was the only girl in the Womens catagory to break the 6 minute barrier.
During August she gets to ride almost everyday and her bike has taken a beating the past couple of weeks, so a big thanks must go out to everyone that supports her and also Jason who dedicates his time to work on her bike and after a late Friday night, had it working amazing for the weekend - Thanks Jason
French Cup next weekend at Oz-en-Oisans... keep watching!
