My first climbing trip to Yosemite as a teenager led to a lifelong love affair with the place. I'm lucky to call Yosemite home, and to use it as a training ground for adventures around the world. I especially love racing up gigantic walls, trying to free climb them, and cramming as many pitches as possible into the day. I'm also very excited to be a part of the new era...

Home climbing area: Earth Favorite climbing area: Yosemite Claim to fame: I haven’t died yet. Favorite Five Ten shoe: comfy Moccasyms. When I alpine climb I seam-seal as well as snow-seal them and wear them with a thick pair of socks. I’ve climbed super-hard cracks in them as well as worn strap-on crampons over them. Personal: What makes you tick? What makes you climb? I am uncontrollably drawn to climb. I follow my intuition.
