When I was ten years old my parents separated. It was a rough time, but it was also at this time my father took me to my fist climbing gym, and my life was instantly changed. I immediately was drawn to the interesting challenges and problems climbing provided. I soon started competing, and was even the second Japanese to win a World Cup Title in 2012. Climbing has allowed me to climbs in beautiful areas, like Ceuse in France and Siurana in Spain. In 2014 I’m planning to climb in the states. Climbing changed my life and it still gives me energy! I’m excited to see what I can do and accomplish in my life through climbing. Accomplishments: In 2006-2008, won the 3rd consecutive Japan Championship. In 2007, won World Youth Championship. In 2010, did the 4th accent of Papichulo (5.15a) as the first Japanese. In 2011, did the 2nd accent of Pachamama (5.15a). In 2012 did La Rambla(5.15a). In 2013, did onsite of Ganja Ext (5.14a).
