I grew up in Owen Sound, Ontario. I started riding in high school and fell in love with it. From that time on, it has been a biking lifestyle. I studied Adventure Tourism and Outdoor Recreation in Alberta. I then completed the Mountain Bike Operations at Capilano University on the Sunshine Coast in 2010 and I am still here and loving it. Living on the Sunshine Coast, I am immersed in an incredible bike scene where the trails are legendary, the riders are amazing, the views are epic and the living is good. I enjoy all types of riding; street/park, slopestyle and down hill. I even spend some time on my “20”. I think BMX is awesome and definitely influences my riding style a great deal. Mountain biking has taken me around North America, building, filming and riding. I began competing in the FMBA circuit - 2010 was my best season, capturing a place podium at the Claymore Challenge, which ranked me 10 in the world, before a tib/fib injury later in the season. Now back from my injury, the good times have not slowed. I have continued to travel, helping out the Coastal Crew with their latest film project and became a part of the new Redbull web series “Brandon Semenuk’s Life Behind Bars”. When I am not on a bike, I enjoy fishing. I grew up with a fishing rod in my hand, thanks to my family. Many vacations and weekends were spent on the water. Fishing is a passion I feel I will never lose and I enjoy getting back at it any chance I can. It is mind blowing how fast mountain biking has taken off and I am stoked to be a part of the progression. I am living the dream!
