Kate Wagner

I grew up on the water and have always had a love for the outdoors, but being from the flatlands of South Dakota was limiting.  As soon as I finished up at the University of Minnesota I was off to the Pacific Northwest for a little more excitement.  I took my first lesson in 2004 and haven't slowed down since.  Kayaking has led me to beautiful international destinations as well as around the US, allowed me to make amazing videos with some of my best friends, and introduced me to countless inspirational people while on the river, teaching lessons, and volunteering for First Descents.  Being on the river keeps a smile on my face.
