In the early 90's, Mat Hoffman and a few others were doing BMX stunt shows at the Texas State Fair. They were called the Sprocket Jockies and were so cool that I was hooked even though I didn't get my first true freestyle bike until 97. To this day Mat is one of my all time biggest heroes in the sport of BMX. His riding and attitude are two things that I've tried to mimic in my BMX career over the years. When I was 18 I had to make a choice between staying in college and a riding career. I've been competing in Pro contests since I made that decision 2001 and have had the honor of riding in events such as the X-Games, Grvity Games, the Dew Tour, Backyard Jams, Metro Jams, MegaRamp competitions, and numerous others. I also have had the honor of receiving two "Ramp Rider of the year" awards and one "Video Part of the year" award called Nora Cups! The Lord has blessed me immensely over the years, and I could not ask for a better job! I get to do something I love for a living and it feels great! I'm still going strong and can't wait to see what the future holds!
