Mitch grew up in the lower main land of British Columbia, know for vast aery of mountains, it was only a matter of time until he found himself in them. Racing motocross from the young age of 5 with his father, Mitch got his start in the two wheeled world. At age 12 he found himself riding his mountain bike more than his motor cycle, as it was something that he could do on his own. Throughout high school he rode nearly every day. For his high school graduation gift his parents purchased a flight to Denver Colorado so that Mitch could compete in his first slope style event, the inaugural Crankworx Colorado. Finishing 7th, he quickly found himself traveling and competing. Instead of heading back to school in the fall like most kids his age, he hoped on a bus to film the fifth season of the television show "Drop In." Today Mitch is living out his dream traveling around and competing on the world stage of free riding.
